Moon Atlas is a new premium personal stationery brand for the modern-day romantic, celebrating contemporary design with traditional craftsmanship and an obsessive attention to detail. It offers a bespoke design service and a limited collection of timeless stationery sets that can be personalised. I launched Moon Atlas in 2019 with the desire to bring my expertise in print design to a wider audience. The new tool frees up our stories from the rigid templates used by the content teams. With this tool we created an adaptable page to promote Christie's partnership with Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood. Initially the page launched with the press release and developed over the course of two weeks as more information and artworks became available. Webflow enabled us to create an agile and bespoke site. The resulting site was one of the department’s top performing sites driving 12,000 unique visits and 17,000 page views. The brand strategy gave each hotel it’s own palette of typography, patterns, textures and print finishes. Throughout the 2 year project I designed and managed the pitch documents and managed the design, print and production of all brand collateral for all 8 hotels (350+ items), and finally documenting the project in a comprehensive set of brand guidelines. The following pages show selected collateral for The Kensington Hotel – inspired by old school glamour and luxury fashion, I created a bespoke type treatment and combined black gloss foil over uncoated blue stock with a golden edge for a show-stopping finish. The new identity had to fit with the wider Christie’s Brand, whilst introducing the new department. The use of colour and layering of type helped to give it a fresh and innovative look, reflecting the energy of the team. The first outing of the identity was on a promotional mailer. This was&nbsp;the source of inspiration for the brand packaging concept. Christie’s needed an extra special invitation to communicate the importance of the event to their hard-to-impress clients.
